Public Housing (Leahy Square) Wait List

When the Livermore Housing Authority opens a wait list, a notice will be published in the East Bay Times and The Independent newspapers as well as posted to the Livermore Housing Authority website. 

In August of 2023, the Livermore Housing Authority transitioned Leahy Square out of Public Housing and into the Section 8 program. There were over 900 applicants on the Leahy Square Public Housing wait list at the time of transition. These applicants will have an opportunity to remain on a wait list intended to fill vacant units at Leahy Square.

If you are a current applicant on the wait list and have a change to your address or income, you may submit verification of changes in writing to:
